Evolve Chile and Valle Nevado are giving away a free session to one lucky camper! The contest is super super simple. The winner will have a chance to ride pow and park with the Armada Boys Mikey Hornbeck,Ben Moxham and Brady Perron along with K.C Deane from Moment Skis.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Watch the video below

2. Submit a video telling us why you deserve to win this contest. Video cannot be longer then 1 minute (get creative)

3. Follow Evolve Chile @evolve_chile on Twitter and Valle Nevado @valle_nevado

4. Submit your video to freesession@evolvechile.com  with the SUBJECT LINE: YO QUIERO CHILE
(submit video from link from either vimeo, youtube or any other source)

Winners will be announced on the Evolve Chile website on June 15th.

ALPINE GOGGLES TO THE EXTREME

Recon Instruments MOD Live have come out with the latest technology in Alpine ski and snowboard goggles. TheVancouverbased company has come out with unique technology that encompass everything you could possibly want in a pair of goggles. These goggles are outfitted with a HD display that shows real time data and images.  The goggles have GPS micro optics display and consist of 428×240 pixel magnified micro display. What does this technological rambling translate too? Basically these goggles are a virtual dashboard. While wearing them you can text your friends, take pictures, and manage a play list.  The goggles are also equipped with a GPS, which will allow you to find the nearest lift and chalet. Altitude and vertical distances are measured on the goggles. This enables the skier and snowboarder to monitor jump statistics. You can look at how well you are improving throughout your trip.

Contest Rules:

Submit a video telling us why you should win the Nick Visconti  “Mucho Powder” Free Session contest with Nick Visconti. Any videos with nudity, swearing or inappropriate footage will be automatically discualified. Video does not need to include snow shots. Get creative! Once your video is approved we will be posting the video on the Evolve Chile and Valle Nevado Fan page.

Winner will be chosen on the following criteria:

Creativity, and our own judgement.
Contest starts April 24th and winners will be announced May 24th via FACEBOOK.

1. Take an absolutely creative, ridiculous, hilarious picture of yourself rocking your ski gear at a public location (other then your ski mountain.. we said creative!)

Meet Evolve Chile

Over the last few months, the Evolve Chile crew has been travelling around the continent meeting with new campers and our incredible staff. After talking to so many Evolve Chile family members, it seems seems like this summer is going to be off the charts! Were already reaching record numbers for camp which is great news this far out.

With kids coming to camp from all over the place it’s always a priority of ours to get everybody familiar with the unique vibes and culture we have at camp. With that said, the Evolve Chile directors recorded some of the conversations we had with staff throughout the winter. These conversations should help you get to know the

Evolve Chile crew and what we’re all about. So with that said, here’s the first edition of “Meet Evolve Chile” with none other than Curtis Woodman

What first attracted you to Evolve Chile? I always wanted to go to Chile and my good friend Nick Visconti gave me evolves contact info and I was lucky enough to become a coach and work with the amazing staff at Evolve.

If you could invent something, would you? Yeah I would invent a machine that puts people in check and makes everybody kinder and happier. Haha

What do you do when youre not skiing or snowboarding? Skateboard, Bike, Hike, Swim, Travel, Draw, Paint, Read, and eat good food.
