Tanner Hall’s first day at Evolve Chile was a huge success. Everyone was stoked to see him shredding through the resort and the park. A full edit from the adult session including JP and Ian’s hike coming soon. Our first adult session was an excellent week. All the guests including some locals from Chile had a kick ass time.

Session Tres showed all the campers at Evolve Chile how much fun Valle Nevado is. For the first few days the powder was something of the past. But for many campers the energy level coming from the beach was super high. The first few days in Valle were spent learning new skills and tricks in the park but an unexpected snow storm gave us over a foot and half of fresh pow! Campers shredded pow, hit the park and learnt new tricks in the airbag. Session Tres is officially done and plans for 2011 are already started. Check out what we did in Valle Nevado.

The adult session at Evolve Chile has been going great, although the snow has not been what we all waited for. The past few days we have been spent cruising the mountain finding spots to hike for “fresh snow”. The park has also been super fun having with the sun shinning and making the snow super soft and fun. JP, Tanner and Ian have been killing it showing our guests a good time. Today was yet another sunny day and JP and Ian hiked up a line that had been spotted by Ian a couple of weeks ago. Check out this teaser of what wend down today. Some of the best snowboarders from around the world have been shredding at Valle Nevado for the past week. Over the weekend the competition was supposed to go down, but the wind was way to strong to let the event go through. Event will resume this weekend. Have a look at was has gone down so far.

Tanner Hall was supposed to be at Evolve Chile to shredd our last day with the campers, but due to storms in Miami his flight was delayed. The last day at camp ended on super high note, but the last day in Santiago was epic. Some of the campers including Tanner Hall ripped around Santiago on cruiser bikes. We checked out some of the main spots and also a few hidden areas that most people in Chile have not even seen. Our guides were full of useful information and the campers loved every single minute of the tour.

Just a few days ago before the end of Session Tres, we had the honor to have Pep Fujas at camp. The afternoon felt like a spring day but with nice snow. Campers lapped the park till sundown and had a chance to hang, shredd and be inspired by Pep Fujas.

We had a great day yesterday with the light fluffy Chilean powder. Today is our second last day before camp ends and the sun is shinning! Check out some footage from yesterdays super fun day.

Today? Sunny, Clear Skys and warm!
For the past few days the fresh snow has been a thing of the past. At Evolve Chile we have it all though and when the pow is not around we have plenty of other things to do like hitting the park or the bi air bag. Yesterday afternoon in the blink of an eye heavy clouds rolled in and shortly after that tiny flakes of snow started coming down. As dinner approached we noticed that the snow was starting to accumulate more and more. Over dinner we kept looking out the window as the snow kept pounding. The 3cm that were expected turned into almost 2 feet of fresh, blower Chilean goodness.
Nothing like waking up to a Delicious massive breakfast, semi-blue skys and fresh POW. Campers and coaches rounding up before hitting the mountain.

Felipe is definitely up for grabs for MVP. This camper came to Chile without knowing how to snowboard. He has mastered the sport in less then three weeks. Pow, steeps, trees, park!

And thats what its all about at Evolve Chile.
All good things do come to an end. The endless pow has taken a break for now so in the meantime we have been hitting the park at Valle Nevado. Coaches have been on their game, teaching campers new skills. Some of the campers have never been in the park and after 3 days of solid work they have been able to nail some sweet grabs, 360’s and more.
